WOMEN IN BUSINESS – December 12, 2013
This "Women in Business" event, sponsored by Presenting Sponsor – Wisconsin Public Service Corporation, provides an opportunity for women in the Central Wisconsin area to network, talk about issues that affect their daily professional lives, learn something new and have fun doing it. The event includes a keynote speaker, lunch and networking. "Women in Business" is open to the public.

Having discovered some of the secrets to successful interpersonal relations while in the Marine Corps and through her leadership experience with Toastmasters International, Dianne Young will share the humor and stories of her journey to Critical Communications.
Her insights will help you identify the self-talk necessary to transcend your circumstances and focus on your goals. You will discover the dynamics of effective communication to improve your personal and professional relationships - even if working in a male-dominant environment.

About our Speaker: Dianne Young is an Achiever who enjoys life and thrives on inspiring people to create a fulfilling lifestyle!
Grateful for a challenging but rewarding 20 year Marine Corps Career, she is driven to share her leadership experiences as a Motor Vehicle Operator initially, and then as an Admin Chief with additional roles as Substance Abuse Officer, Suicide Prevention Officer and Equal Opportunity Advisor.
Her military assignments included various units in California, North Carolina, Okinawa Japan, Yuma Arizona, Korea, Guam and Hawaii. Her most treasured role in life is being a loving wife, and mother of 3 active young men.
Dianne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and graduated with honors after 3 years of managing a full time college schedule on top of working her full time job.
She has nearly a decade of corporate experience with a small staff, managing over 600,000 claim cards for a Third Party Administrator of Employee Benefits Plans before pursuing her passion for professional speaking. As a Distinguished Toastmaster and Immediate Past District Governor of Wisconsin’s 106 Toastmasters Clubs, Dianne led the District to a record number of distinguished clubs by helping them achieve their membership and leadership goals.
Currently, Dianne uses her Marine Corps leadership and Toastmasters experience to enrich the lives of others as a Mental Toughness Speaker, Coach and Workshop Facilitator!
