2020 Business on the Green - PM Event

The Portage County Business Council will hold their Ambassadors Club 31st annual golf outing, Business on the Green ton August 10, 2020. The event will be divided into morning and afternoon rounds at the Stevens Point Country Club, 1628 Country Club Drive, Stevens Point, WI. The rounds will begin at 7:30AM and 2:00PM.

The Stevens Point Country Club, a beautifully renovated private course built in 1925, is an 18-hole Bent grass course and home of the 2000 Wisconsin State Open.

Business on the Green provides an opportunity to network while golfing with customers, employees and other Portage County businesses. This is also the only fund raising event sponsored by the Ambassador's Club, the outreach arm of the Business Council. Proceeds from the event fund new programming for businesses across the county.

This event is open to Business Council members, their colleagues and the public. Cost per player is: $130.00/golfer.

All participants are asked to follow CDC guidelines, including hand-sanitizing, safe distancing, wearing of face masks and staying home if you are not feeling well. Here are some of the precautions we will be putting into place to ensure a safe, successful and fun event:

 - PCBC staff, volunteers and golf course staff will be wearing face masks.
 - Social distancing of 6 ft or more will be highly encouraged, as well as enforced during check-in.
 - Golf carts will be sanitized before and after each of the two 18-hole events on the day.
 - Breakfast for am golfers and dinner for pm golfers will be provided in a grab-n-go format.
 - Box lunches will be provided during lunch (social distancing during distribution will be enforced).
 - Modified Award Ceremony and prizes for each 18-hole event will be announced the week of the event.
 - All awards will be available for pick-up or delivery.
 - Hole sponsors with tables on the course will be provided disinfectant spray and paper towels to clean     area between foursomes.
 - All participants will be provided face masks and hand sanitizers.
 - Stevens Point Country Club follows all necessary CDC Guidelines.
