WOMEN IN BUSINESS - Wednesday, July 15, 2020
This "Women in Business" event, Presented by Aspirus Stevens Point Campus - , provides an opportunity for women in the Central Wisconsin area to network, talk about issues that affect their daily professional lives, learn something new and have fun doing it. This event will includes a lunch (for those attending in person), swag bag, door prizes and networking. A 50/50 raffle will also be played. "Women in Business" is open to the public.

Plated Luncheon Catered by Rockman's Catering includes: Napa Valley Salad (Spring Mix, Arugula, Pan-Seared Chicken Breast, Dates, Toasted Hazelnuts & Feta) with Balsamic Vinaigrette, Sourdough Baguettes, Ice Water with Lemon Slices, Sweetened Ice Tea, and delicious Neapolitan Cheesecake for Dessert.

Tracey Kujawa
Fire Chief for the Wausau Fire Department
TITLE OF PRESENTATION: "Leadership Principles That Can Make All the Difference"
ABOUT THE PROGRAM: As the Fire Chief of the Wausau Fire Department, and former Fire Chief of the Stevens Point Fire Department, Tracey knows intimately what it is like to lead in a traditionally male-dominated field. She has become passionate about leadership while advancing in her profession and will share both personal and professional experiences as well as some principles that have assisted her in becoming the leader she is today.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: Chief Tracey Kujawa has been in the fire service since 1992. Tracey began her career working for the Stevens Point Fire Department. She started her career as a firefighter and served in many positions prior to becoming the chief of the Stevens Point Fire Department in 2012. Tracey was appointed the chief of the City of Wausau Fire Department in 2014.
Since becoming part of the Wausau Fire Department in May of 2014, Chief Kujawa has been elected to the position of Trustee for the Wisconsin State Fire Chief's Association. Tracey is also on the steering committee for Critical Incident Stress (CIS) Services of Wausau and a member of the Northcentral Technical College Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee.
Chief Kujawa's education and training include; a Master of Science in Public Safety Administration from Lewis University; and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. She also is a licensed Nationally Registered Paramedic and certified as a Hazardous Materials Technician, Instructor II, Fire Inspector and Fire Safety Officer. Chief Kujawa has also attended numerous Federal Emergency Management Agency and National Fire Academy courses.
Chief Kujawa and her husband Jeff, of thirty-eight years, have raised three awesome children and now enjoy five beautiful grandchildren.
