De-escalation of People in Crisis for Law Enforcement

Description

This course will discuss and explain how to handle people in crisis using communication techniques and when necessary use of force, using only the amount of force necessary to control the individual. The course will discuss ground stabilization of subjects and stress the importance of position and monitoring of subjects. This course will also include low-level scenario training to reinforce the concepts taught. The course will also include an update of professional communication skills from DOJ.
