Leap into Leap Day with the UWSP Museum of Natural History and the UWSP Planetarium on Saturday, February 29th! Celebrate the extra day in our calendar with some “toad-ally” awesome activities in the Museum from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Featured Activities Include:

  • Leap Day Trivia
  • Frog Quest
  • Dorm Door Decals
  • “One Leap for Frog Kind” Game
  • Live frogs from the UWSP Herpetology Society 
Then, join the UWSP Planetarium at 11 a.m. for a special presentation of Celebrating a Special Day in our Calendar…A Leap Across Time.” This presentation will shed some light into important questions like: Why do we have leap years? How do we calculate leap years? Who invented them? What is the science behind leap seconds? This interactive program will be held in the UWSP Planetarium and has limited seating. It is first-come, first-served.
