Description
In this session, you will:
- Distinguish destructive and constructive conflict
- Recognize the influence that hidden elements such as power, face, and emotions have upon conflict
- Determine your own and others' conflict resolution styles using Rahim & Magner's styles assessment
- Use strategies drawn from mediation and negotiation research to work toward a best-possible solution
- Recognize destructive communication habits and neutralize toxic language while modeling more productive habits for greater mutual gains
- Learn and role play communication strategies and skills to get beyond disagreements
