Description
Explore what research tells us about why diversity matters and how it improves problem solving and decision-making. Participants will be asked to reflect on their own perspectives and perceptions relative to their identities to uncover unintentional ways we might send inclusive and/or exclusive messages in our organizations and in our work with others. We’ll discuss strategies for mitigating these behaviors in ourselves, and we’ll practice intervening when others do or say things that detract from inclusivity in our organizations.
