Production Machine Operator – A skilled and dedicated factory employee tasked with performing a variety of value added operations to complete manufacturing orders (M.O.) while meeting and exceeding customer expectation and requirements.
Job Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Operating and setup coining presses
- Operating wire forming equipment
- Setup wire forming equipment
- Operating electric ovens and heat treatment furnace/equipment
- Maintaining chemical and rinse baths
- Maintain department tooling (using grinder & lathe)
- Operating and Setup stamping press (dies, feeder, straightener, un-winder, embosser)
- Operating single and multi-spindle metal lathes (screw machines)
- Setup of screw machines
- Inspect equipment, tooling, and material
- Reading component prints (specifications)
- Quality assurance checks
- Record/enter production
- Operating forklift
Expectations for all Production Machine Operators are as follows:
- Perform value added tasks and duties over the entirety of the shift.
- Perform assigned tasks and duties to the best of your ability.
- Report to Department Supervisor for direction when necessary.
- Share ideas with coworkers, supervisors, and managers.
- Monitor equipment, machines, and tooling for unusual noises or movements; notify Department Supervisor or Manager of any concerns
- Ensure products produced are meeting or exceeding customer expectations and requirements.
- Take pride in your craft.
- Treat everyone with professionalism and respect.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Abide by all Safety and Worth Company policies.
Wage: Based on Experience $17.00 -$19.00/hour. Worth Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package to include Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 401K, Profit Sharing, Vacation and Personal Time, and Holiday Pay.
Hours: Mon-Thur 6:00am to 4:30pm
