Business X-Change meets regularly throughout the year.  Our October X-Change will be held in person at the Portage County Business Council office. Business X-Change allows business owners and their employees the opportunity to discuss pertinent topics, learn from local industry leaders and, most importantly, learn from each other.

About the Program:  Join with Attorney Brian Formella as he guides us through a discussion of the most significant federal and state legal developments that affect most Wisconsin employers.

- U.S. Supreme Court decisions relating to clarified employment discrimination standards; direct review standard.
- Recent rulings by the federal courts across the U.S. relating to FMLA and disability discrimination claims.

About our Presenter: 
Brian Formella graduated from Marquette University with B.A. degrees in English and Economics and from Marquette University Law School with honors. After graduating, he was a law clerk to Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Louis J. Ceci. His areas of practice include employment, labor law, and municipal law. Brian works with employers to establish sound employment practices. He also defends employers against discrimination accusations.
