BUSINESS X-CHANGE PRESENTATION - APRIL 8, 2026 - 7:30 AM TO 8:30 AM
Business X-Change meets regularly throughout the year. Our April X-Change will be held at the Portage County Business Council office. Business X-Change allows business owners and their employees the opportunity to discuss pertinent topics, learn from local industry leaders and, most importantly, learn from each other.
There is no cost to attend. Coffee and Danish provided.

About the Program:
This Business X-Change program will highlight the importance of reasonable suspicion training for supervisors, helping employers recognize potential signs of employee impairment. Attendees will gain understanding of how important Reasonable Suspicion Training is as it gives practical tools to confidently address workplace challenges related to substance use. The program will feature interactive drug and alcohol simulation, providing a hands-on learning experience including impairment scenarios involving breath alcohol concentrations of .08--.15 and cannabis.

- Recognizing the signs of impairment from drug and/or alcohol
- Indicators of probable alcohol and controlled substance misuse
- Supervisor Do’s and Don’ts
- Requirements for Reasonable Suspicion Training
