Prevail Bank (Stevens Point) has scheduled a free Community Shred Day event for paper documents on Friday, September 8, from 10am-2pm.
In addition to providing an identity theft safeguard (shredding consumers' personal and confidential information), a donation to CAP Services Family Crisis Center will be made based on the poundage of paper received. For every pound of paper shredded, Prevail Bank will donate a dollar, up to $1,000.
EVERYONE is welcome to participate; a person does not need to be a customer of Prevail Bank to participate. Public donations to CAP Services will be accepted prior to and during the event as well.
