Step aboard for an afternoon journey through the people, places, and traditions that shaped Portage County. Sights & Stories is a guided bus tour that brings local history to life with engaging storytelling, unique historic sites, and meaningful connections to the communities that built this region.
Your experience begins at Heritage Park in Plover, where participants will enjoy access to our newest exhibit, Rhythms of the River: The History of Music in Portage County—an exploration of how music has influenced life along the Wisconsin River.
From there, the bus will travel a scenic loop through the county with engaging stops at:
