Work site: Family Crisis Center – Stevens Point, WI
Start Date: As soon as possible
Starting Pay: $28.63 - 31.55 per hour, depending on experience

Status: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Duties: The position exists to oversee the provision of services that meet the immediate needs of callers on a 24-hour crisis and information hotline and walk-in visitors presenting for a variety of concerns including mental health, family dysfunction, domestic abuse and sexual assault. The position also supervises service delivery and provides direct services to domestic violence victims and their children, sexual assault victims as well as youth-in-crisis who are receiving emergency shelter and outreach services at the Family Crisis Center.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in psychology/sociology/social work/human service and 3 years' related experience, associate's degree with 5 years’ related experience; or High School Diploma with 7 years of related experience or work considered to be directly preparatory to the position, leading to a broad knowledge of job responsibilities and methods.
Must understand the dynamics of sexual assault and domestic abuse and their effects on victims. Must be able to apply knowledge or experience related to interpersonal violence dynamics, chemical dependency, and family dysfunction in assessing victim needs within 6 months of hire.
Must understand, or acquire within three months of hire, an understanding of laws relating to restraining orders/harassment/stalking.
Must have demonstrated ability to evaluate situations and client information. CPR and First Aid certification required at hire or within 90 days of hire.
Must have moderate computer skills in Windows Word, Excel and Office Suite upon hire.
