Job Summary
The Physical Therapist will utilize their expertise to provide specialized evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients. Responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, designing personalized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions aimed at enhancing function, reducing pain, and improving overall quality of life for patients. Additionally, close collaboration with other healthcare professionals is critical to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes. The individual will also perform in a manner consistent with Stevens Point Orthopedics’ mission, policies, and initiatives while always maintaining patient confidentiality.
 
Essential Job Functions

  • Evaluate and consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
  • Review patients’ medical history and referrals from providers.
  • Develop a personalized plan of care.
  • Provide evidence-based treatment that is tailored to each individual patient.
  • Keep open lines of dialog with other physical therapists and providers.
  • Maintain timely documentation and efficient patient records.
 
Additional Job Functions
  • Ability to interact and engage with patients in a friendly and personable manner.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and management.
 
Job Qualifications

Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Interest in orthopedics and in treating the spine.
  • Prefer 2+ years of experience.
