What You’ll Do:
The HR Partner supports Skyward employees and managers by:
- Conducting regular meetings with departments to perform thorough job analyses, identifying key responsibilities, required skills, qualifications, team dynamics, and culture fit for each role.
- Managing department vacancies and the recruiting process, including assisting with interviewing and candidate selection.
- Job offer creation and extension.
- Analyzing trends to recommend solutions, programs, and policies.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance by maintaining knowledge of legal requirements and partnering with HR management or legal as needed.
- Improving work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
- Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Maintaining job descriptions, employee handbook, and various spreadsheets/tracking.
- Managing paperwork and system updates for employee changes.
- Maintaining employee personnel files.
- Continuously seeking process improvements.
- Participating in weekly HR staff meetings.
- Assisting with other HR projects as assigned.
What It Takes:
- 2+ years previous HR experience or related experience, preferred expertise in in all facets of recruitment, i.e. candidate screening, interviewing and selection.
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Service-oriented mindset.
- Must be friendly and approachable.
- Ability to communicate with a variety of personalities in an honest and open manner.
- Displays a sense of urgency.
- Self-motivated and able to adapt quickly.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Computer proficient.
