CWSO Announces Summer Fundraiser
June 9, 2025 [STEVENS POINT, WI] – The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra is excited to announce its upcoming summer fundraiser, the Bluegrass & BBQ Bash! This event will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 6:00- 8:30 p.m. at Great Northern Distilling in Stevens Point. This vibrant evening of music, food, and community support promises to be a highlight of the season, all in support of the CWSO’s mission to enrich, engage, and educate through the power and performance of live music. Explore all the outdoor fun the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s Schmeeckle Reserve has in store this summer. Schmeeckle Reserve will host two “Nature Explorers” day camps June 16-26 and July 7-17 for children entering 3rd-6th grade. These camps will lead hands-on activities, including child-centered discovery hikes, wildlife watching, catching frogs and other pond animals, canoeing in the lake and more. Each camp will run Monday through Thursday from 1-4 p.m. for two weeks. Registration is $150

Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra’s educational programs and outreach efforts were awarded $2,000 by Prevail Bank this Spring.
