Work site: Children’s Discovery Center – Stevens Point
Start Date: as soon as possible
Starting Pay: $15.31-$16.87 per hour, depending on experience
Status: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week

Duties: Responsible for assisting the teacher in preparing and conducting classroom activities which provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum, utilizing developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the Program’s philosophy and Creative Curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications:
-If you do not meet the minimum qualifications on the job training may be provided.
? High School diploma or equivalent(required); and
? Two courses in Early Childhood Education through an institute of higher education (preferred); and
? Six months related work experience working directly with children (preferred).
Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire and a certificate of completion of shaken baby syndrome training prior to working in the center.
