LTE Classroom Assistant
Work site: Children’s Discovery Center – Stevens Point
Start Date: As soon as possible
Starting Pay: $15.31-$16.87 per hour, depending on experience
Status: Hours as needed
Benefits: 401K (6% match)
Duties: Responsible for assisting the teacher in preparing and conducting classroom activities which provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum, utilizing developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the Program’s philosophy and Creative Curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications:
-If you do not meet the minimum qualifications on the job training may be provided.
- High School diploma or equivalent(required); and
- Two courses in Early Childhood Education through an institute of higher education (preferred); and
- Six months related work experience working directly with children (preferred).
