Pacelli Catholic High School is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled, and student-centered educator to serve as a full-time High School Science Teacher with a focus on Chemistry. Position Overview
The Chemistry teacher will provide engaging, rigorous instruction aligned to diocesan and state standards while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific literacy. The ideal candidate will cultivate a classroom environment rooted in respect, curiosity, and high expectations.
Responsibilities

Teach high school Chemistry courses (including potential honors or advanced sections).

Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate laboratory investigations and hands-on learning experiences.

Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback.

Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment and follow all safety protocols.

Integrate faith and Catholic values appropriately into instruction and classroom culture.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Science Education, or related field
