Work site: Family Development Center, Stevens Point, WI
Start Date: August 6, 2025
Starting Pay: $16.99-$18.72 per hour, depending on experience
Status: Full time, 37.5-40 hours per week, full year and part year depending on hours worked more information will be discussed during the interview.

Duties: In a Head Start classroom working with 3-5-year-olds you would be responsible for
assisting the Classroom Manager in preparing and conducting lesson plans which provide a
developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum, utilizing developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the Program’s philosophy and Creative Curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two - year Associate Degree in Child Care and Development through a technical college and one year of classroom experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.
- Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or a Registry Level of 6 or greater and two years of experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.
Must be able to work effectively in multi-cultural situations.
