Centergy Awards Excellence, Celebrates Economic Success at Inaugural Investor Reception

April 17, 2024 – Centergy Hosts its first Investor Reception to Celebrate Economic Success and Recognized Outstanding Achievements in Central Wisconsin.
 
Centergy, the leading economic development organization in Central Wisconsin, hosted an Investor Reception on April 15th. The event was dedicated to honoring the region's remarkable successes and recognizing outstanding individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the area's economic growth and prosperity.
 
The Investor Reception included Centergy investors, business leaders, government officials, and community members who highlighted the vibrant spirit and collaborative efforts driving Central Wisconsin forward.
 
A focus of the evening was the presentation of three awards:
 

  • Economic Development Leadership Award: This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in spearheading economic development initiatives and driving positive change in the region.
  • Excellence in Business Expansion Award: Acknowledging companies that have exhibited remarkable commitment to expansion, innovation, and job creation, thereby contributing to the economic vitality of Central Wisconsin.
  • Innovation in Economic Development Award: Celebrating innovative initiatives and strategies that have played a pivotal role in advancing economic development, fostering entrepreneurship, and enhancing the region's competitiveness.
The recipients of these esteemed awards were announced and honored for their outstanding achievements:
 
  • Economic Development Leadership Award: Karen Olson, Business Development Director at the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry, was recognized for her exemplary leadership and significant contributions to economic development in Central Wisconsin.
  • Excellence in Business Expansion Award: Ki Mobility was honored for its exceptional commitment to expansion, innovation, and job creation, contributing to the economic growth of the region.
  • Innovation in Economic Development Award: The Children's Imaginarium was celebrated for its innovative approach to STEM education and its significant impact on the community.
