Cumberland & Pecher Awarded Aspirus Riverview Auxiliary Memorial Scholarships

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Maisie Cumberland of Port Edwards and Patience Pecher of Wisconsin Rapids are the recipients of this year’s Aspirus Riverview Auxiliary Memorial Scholarships. Aspirus Riverview Foundation awards the scholarships annually to students attending Mid-State Technical College in a healthcare-related field.

 

Cumberland is enrolled in Mid-State’s nursing program. She recently expressed her gratitude for the scholarship, writing, “This scholarship has eased the financial burden of my education and provided me with the motivation to continue to excel academically. Thank you for investing in my future and supporting my dreams.”

 

Pecher is enrolled in Mid-State’s emergency medical technician program and nursing program. In appreciation for the scholarship, she recently wrote, “I have always wanted to go into the medical field and had some obstacles along the way. I know this scholarship will give me the confidence to keep going. Thank you so much. It is greatly appreciated!”
