CWSO Announces Summer Fundraiser

[STEVENS POINT, WI] – The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra is excited to announce its upcoming summer fundraiser, the Bluegrass & BBQ Bash! This event will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 6:00- 8:30 p.m. at Great Northern Distilling in Stevens Point. This vibrant evening of music, food, and community support promises to be a highlight of the season, all in support of the CWSO’s mission to enrich, engage, and educate through the power and performance of live music.

Tickets are $65 and include an evening filled with live entertainment, delicious food, and opportunities to win exciting raffle prizes. Guests will enjoy music by The Foragers, a talented local bluegrass band generously sponsored by Headcase Salon. The event will feature a delicious menu catered by Smoking J’s BBQ, provided by the CWSO for all attendees. A cash bar with a featured drink will be available, and guests can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win from a variety of raffle baskets and a silent auction for a gourmet dinner. Attendees can also purchase tickets for the chance to win a beautiful pendant valued at $2,000, which was generously donated by Lee Ayers Jewelers.

This event offers supporters a chance to enjoy an unforgettable evening while supporting the future of the arts in Central Wisconsin. Funds raised will help the CWSO continue to offer concerts, educational programs, and community outreach that have inspired audiences for over 70 years.

The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra consists of sixty-five professional musicians coming from the central Wisconsin region. The players hold an array of occupations; many are music educators, university professors, students, and full-time professional musicians. The regional orchestra is celebrating 76 years at the heart of the vibrant arts and cultural life of Central Wisconsin. The organizational mission is “to enrich, engage, and educate through the power and performance of live music.”
