Prevail Bank Shred Event Helps CAP Services / Women & Children’s Shelter

As a result of Prevail Bank’s Community Shred Day event in Stevens Point, $1,297 was raised for CAP Services (Women’s & Children’s Shelter).

Prevail Bank pledged $1 for every pound of paper, up to $1,000, and the community rose to the challenge, bringing in a whopping 2,000 pounds of paper to be safely destroyed and recycled! The public chipped in an additional $297 in donations, bringing the total gift to $1,297.

A special check presentation was held at Prevail Bank. Prevail Bank professionals (L to R) Scott Romportl, Chief Risk Director; Dejonna Lake, Branch Manager; Kaitlin Ladwig, Relationship Banker; and Ruthie Dickinson, AVP Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS# 2717623) presented the check to CAP-family crisis representatives Cindy and Hannah (far right).

“This event was a win-win,” said Lake. “We helped people protect their personal information while supporting a cause that makes a real difference right here in our community.”

Prevail Bank is a community bank that is continuously looking for ways to give back, support those pursuing dreams, and make things better in central Wisconsin.
