Stevens Point Homeschool Community to Participate in NASA GLOBE Professional Development Conference

Rosholt, WI – Wisconsin Lions Camp Rentals is preparing to welcome over 300 people from the Stevens Point Homeschool Community to participate in a day of learning and exploration on October 16, 2024. During the week of October 14 – 18th professionals from camps and organizations representing Alabama, California, Missouri, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin will be collaborating and growing in their knowledge of the NASA GLOBE Goes to Camp program.
As part of this conference, the Stevens Point Homeschool Community has been invited to come to Wisconsin Lions Camp to take part in a day of GLOBE and Camp activities. From 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM activities will be conducted for over 200 children. The activities and lunch are all provided complimentary to participants courtesy of the Wisconsin Lions Foundation.
The day will finish with a Q&A session with GLOBE Goes to Camp founder Tina Harte Ballinger and her colleague Amy Ellisor, both of Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) who is the contractor of this program with NASA.
