UW-Stevens Point offering public listening sessions as part of chancellor search

As part of the search for its next chancellor, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will host two public listening sessions to gather feedback from university students, faculty and staff as well as community members and regional business and organization leaders.

The sessions will be offered on Tuesday, Oct. 21, in person in the Laird Room at the Dreyfus University Center (DUC), 1015 Reserve Street, Stevens Point, from 9-10 a.m. and noon-1 p.m. Parking will be available in Lot R across from the DUC, with access from Phillips Street on the UWSP campus. The sessions are hosted by the Chancellor Search and Screen Committee.

Both sessions will also be available via Zoom. Find the links and more information about the search at www.uwsp.edu/chancellor-search.

All are encouraged to participate, as these sessions will help set the attributes and priorities of the next UW-Stevens Point chancellor. The Listening Session Feedback Qualtrics Survey may be found at https://uwsystemadmin.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7WWT1Gkb2mG8vqu.

The former chancellor, Thomas Gibson, became chancellor at UW-Milwaukee in July. Interim Chancellor Pratima Gandhi will serve until a new chancellor is appointed through the search process.
