UWSP at Marshfield to host annual Marshfield Cultural Fair

The Marshfield Cultural Fair, a tradition of over two decades with exhibits, crafts, food and entertainment from around the world, returns to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Marshfield on Saturday, Feb. 22.
 
It will be held throughout the campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fair will include performances in the Upper Commons and Helen Connor Laird Theatre, Music Magic, Main Street Conservatory of Dance – Marshfield, Wisconsin Country Style Dancers , Steel Drums with Kent Arnsbarger, Salsa Manzana, AaroChele and Indian Bollywood Dances.
 
Among the exhibitors are the City of Marshfield Historic Preservation Commission, Marshfield Broadcasting, Needlepoint Hmong Motif, Polish Heritage Awareness Society, and Tanya Creations.
 
Food vendors will include Jamaican Kitchens, GT’s Hawaiian BBQ, Nagoya Japanese Sushi and Steakhouse, Kat’s Sweet Escape and the newly opened Hungry Hub. Children may take part in a passport activity, puppet shows and crafts.
 
“UWSP at Marshfield looks forward to hosting this event, celebrating our community’s rich diversity and continuing a long-held tradition,” said Tony Andrews, UWSP at Marshfield campus executive.
