YMCA Camp Glacier Hollow is excited to share that we've received a generous 2025 grant from YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) to expand access to overnight camp experiences for youth in our community. This support—combined with funding from the Stevens Point Area YMCA’s Annual Campaign—will open the door for children from Pacelli Catholic Schools, the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Wisconsin, and other community partners to enjoy an unforgettable summer at Camp Glacier Hollow. These continued partnerships reflect a shared commitment to youth development, community collaboration, and ensuring more kids have the chance to grow, explore, and thrive through summer camp.
Located on beautiful Lake Elaine, Camp Glacier Hollow—Where Adventure Begins and Memories Last a Lifetime—is an American Camp Association-accredited camp offering a safe, inclusive space where campers build friendships, connect with nature, and learn life skills like teamwork, leadership, and resilience. Our programs include Day Camp, Overnight Camp, and Adventure Trips for youth of all ages.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Y-USA for making it possible for even more kids to experience the joy and growth that comes with overnight camp,” said AJ Becker, Camp Director. “Our goal has always been to make summer camp accessible to every child, regardless of background or circumstances—and this grant helps us get even closer to that vision.”
Camp Glacier Hollow still has limited spots available for Day Camp, Overnight Camp, and Adventure Trips this summer. Families can learn more or register by visiting www.spymca.org/camp or contacting Camp Director AJ Becker at 715-342-2980 ext. 306.
